- Drink 2 quarters of water for soft tissue irrigation.
- Decrease the intake of caffeine and sugar as these neurostimulants can increase pain perceptions and dehydrates the body
- Maintain natural sleeping posture by using pillows to bolster the extremities in order to keep the spine straight.
- Practice therapeutic movements and stretches.
- Keep up your postural awareness during the day.
- Breath slowly, extending the exhale
- Apply ice packs for about 10 -15 minutes on an accute pain, or warm moist packs on chronic pain.
- Develop a possitive attitude.
- Simplify/ prioritize and take stress breaks.
